1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until butter is melted. Remove from heat.
