2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg

Cream sugar with butter. Add eggs, one at a time creaming after each addition. Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Add flour to mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into pan, sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until done in 10" tube pan.
