OLD FASHIONED CORN BREAD DRESSING
 

1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/3 c. butter

Saute until tender and clear.

3 biscuits crumbled
8 c. crumbled cornbread
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper or to taste
1 tsp. poultry seasoning or to taste
1 tsp. sage or to taste
4 eggs, well beaten

Add enough broth from chicken or turkey to be thin but not soupy.

Mix all together. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until thick and light brown on top.
