BUTTERCREAM ICING
 

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. milk

Cream butter and Crisco. Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating on medium speed. Add milk and beat on high until light and fluffy. Yield: 3 1/2 cups.
