6 garlic pods, smashed 2 (6 inch) stems of fresh basil leaves 1 (6 inch) stem fresh rosemary 1 (4 inch) stem fresh tarragon 3 stems fresh oregano 4 fresh bay leaves 2 stems fresh chives 100% pure virgin olive oil Make sure that all ingredients are clean and fresh. Place herbs in bottle (wine bottles do fine). Fill to 1 inch from top with olive oil. Insert cork tightly. Let stand for 2 weeks.
