1 qt. water
3/4 c. instant coffee (not decaf)
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 fifth 100% vodka

Put water and instant coffee in pot; bring to boil. Cool. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla and vodka. I prefer Smirnoff vodka. Makes 1/2 gallon.
