12 c. sugar 12 c. water 5 rinds lemons, grated 12 lemons, squeeze and strain juice Put the grated rinds into the juice and let stand several hours or overnight if you wish. Make a thick syrup of the sugar and water, but do not boil longer than two minutes. Let the syrup cool and strain into it the juice and rind mixture. Use one tablespoon for each glass of water, no sugar is needed. |
