1 1/2 tsp. vinegar 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. shredded lemon peel 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. soda 1 3/4 c. flour Stir vinegar into milk. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and lemon peel. Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Beat after each addition. Drop 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
