Combine 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cloves, 1 teaspoon ground allspice, 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel, 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel and 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. Place in an airtight container. Include the following Mulled Wine recipe. Yield: 3/4 cup of mix. MULLED WINE: Combine 1/4 cup mix with 1 cup red wine and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Yield: 1 serving. |
