SHERBET SMOOTHIES
 

any kind of sherbet (rainbow tastes great)
3 tablespoons milk
optional: fresh fruit

Remove sherbet from the freezer. Thaw for a few minutes.

Put 8 small scoops of sherbet into the mixer, mixing on medium speed until smooth. While on speed four, add the milk, adding more or less to your taste and the desired consistency!

Mix on level speed six until smooth. Pour into glasses, and chill until extra cold.

While they chill, for decoration, decorate a long straw like a fruit kabob, put fresh fruit right on the straw and place right in the smoothie. Enjoy!

Cooks Note: If a blender is used, add frozen fresh fruit, such as strawberries or peaches. A drop of vanilla or almond extract or lemon juice can help kick up the flavor. We sometimes use coconut milk or almond milk in our smoothies. Try using lime sherbet in the blender with a few wedges of fresh lime, or orange sherbet with clementines!
