FAVORITE BEEF LOAF
 

2/3 c. fine, dry cracker crumbs
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 c. milk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. sage
Dash of pepper

Soak cracker crumbs in milk; add meat, eggs, onion, and seasonings. Mix well. Shape in loaf and place in shallow baking pan (or lightly pack into loaf pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Garnish with green pepper and onion rings. Makes 8 servings.
