1 1/2 lb. blade or top side steak or roast MARINADE: 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 2 tbsp. catsup 1 1/2 c. cold water Cut meat into serving pieces (strips). Place in casserole. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients, stir in sauces and vinegar. Mix well and add water. Pour over meat. Cover and allow to stand for one hour. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Serves 4 with mashed potatoes. |
