4 - 5 lb. roast (inexpensive cuts are fine as they cook in a crock pot) 1 lg. bottle favorite barbecue sauce Put roast in crock pot. Add water just to cover. Slow cook on low overnight or about 10 hours. Drain half of water; add barbecue sauce and pull meat apart and cook another 6 hours or until meat is shredded. Makes a lot. Great for a barbecue served on hamburger rolls. |
