Makes 6 to 8 servings 7 lb. pork spare ribs or 10 lb. beef back ribs 1 med. onion, minced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. butter 1 1/2 c. ketchup 1/3 c. bottled steak sauce 8 oz. beer 1 tbsp. seasoned salt 1 tbsp. hot pepper sauce 1 c. brown sugar Parsley Boil ribs in water to cover for 1 hour. Meanwhile, saute' onion and garlic lightly in butter. Add ketchup, steak sauce, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire, beer seasoned salt and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boil, reduce heat an simmer for 30 minutes. Drain ribs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, or on out door grill over indirect coals. Bake until brown. During the last 15 minutes, baste with barbeque sauce and cover with sprigs of parsley. |
