3 lbs. spareribs, cut in serving pieces Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder Place ribs in shallow roasting pan in a single layer. Roast in 350 degree oven. Brush with Honey Barbecue Sauce. Continue baking and basting until ribs are tender and glazed (about 1 hour). HONEY BARBECUE SAUCE: 3/4 c. honey 1/2 c. ketchup 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. Dijon style mustard 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 garlic clove, pressed 1/4 c. oil Simmer all ingredients together 5 minutes. Yield: 1 1/2 cups. Leftover sauce can be refrigerated. Great with chicken, pork or anything grilled. |
