ONION MUSHROOM CHUCK ROAST
 

1 (3 1/2 lb.) boneless chuck roast
1 pkg. (2.3 oz.) onion soup mix
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking dish with a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around entire roast. Place roast in foil. Sprinkle onion soup mix on top of roast and spoon cream of mushroom soup on top. Wrap foil tightly around roast to prevent steam for escaping. Bake for 2 1/2 hours. This dish makes its own gravy.
