GERMAN STEAK DISH "ROLADIN"
 

8 slices sirloin tip steak, sliced very thin
Mustard
Salt
Pepper
3 dill pickles, sliced
6 slices lean bacon, diced
2 med. onions

Spread mustard on the sliced steak, very thinly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread diced onions, chopped bacon and diced pickles. Roll steak over ingredients. Use sewing thread to wrap around and secure meat roll. Cook in skillet with 1/4 cup oil. Add 1/2 cup water and cook on simmer on stove for 1 1/2 hours adding water as needed. Once meat rolls have cooked to tender, remove, set aside. Add 1/2 cup water to drippings for gravy mixture.
