Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of medium skillet with small piece of pork fat. Brown chops and place in single layer in a shallow 2-2 1/2 quarts casserole.
In a small bowl, combine bread cubes, onions, poultry seasoning, water, butter and soup in skillet used for browning pork chops. Top each chop with the mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chops are tender. Serves 4. For 6 servings, use 6 pork chops and 3 cups of bread cubes. Increase poultry seasoning to 1/2 teaspoon.
