PAPRIKA CORNED BEEF
 

3-4 lbs. corned beef brisket
Water to cover
2 tsp. pickling spice
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Cover brisket with water. Add pickling spices and garlic clove. Cover tightly and simmer slowly (never boil) 3-4 hours or until brisket is tender. Remove meat from water and place fat side up on a rack in an open roasting pan.

Combine water, soy sauce, paprika, ginger, and brown sugar. Brush mixture on brisket and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
