OVEN POT ROAST
 

2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. roast of beef
1 env. onion soup mix
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 can mushrooms, including liquid
Meat tenderizer

Put roast on shelf and pierce with fork on both sides. Sprinkle garlic powder on each side. Also meat tenderizer. Then put roast on a big sheet of heavy duty foil. Sprinkle onion soup on top and canned mushrooms with liquid. Fold up foil over roast and bake 3 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
