KAREN'S PEACHY SPARERIBS
 

3-4 lb. spareribs
2 (4 1/2 oz.) jars strained baby food peaches
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. powdered ginger

Have the ribs cut apart into serving sized pieces. Arrange ribs with meaty sides up, on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drain off fat. Reset temperature to 300 degrees; also remove the rack so that ribs are resting on bottom of pan.

Combine other ingredients. Pour mixture over ribs and put back into oven. Bake until well browned and very tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour, basting several times with sauce in bottom of pan. Serves 4.
