STOVE-TOP MEATLOAF
 

2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. crackers, crushed
2 eggs
1/2 sm. bottle picante sauce
Chopped onions or dried onions to taste
1 sm. tomato sauce
1 grated block cheese

Mix ground beef, crackers, eggs, picante sauce and onions. Form ball; place in a large Dutch oven pan. Divide ball in half down the middle. Push halves to side of pan. Place 2 hands full of water in the slit. Put tomato sauce on top. Cover and cook on top of stove on low heat for 30 minutes. After cooked, place cheese on hot meatloaf to melt.
