3 c. beef broth or 3 c. water in beef pan drippings 3 c. more or less sliced mushrooms 3 tbsp. flour Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp. butter In a frying pan, melt butter and add mushrooms. Stir and fry until juices have evaporated. Add the broth or pan drippings and water. Bring to a boil. Stir the flour into 1/2 cup of water and blend until smooth. Add to mushroom mixture and stir until thickened. Serve over steak and/or potatoes. |
