1 lb. cavatelli pasta 1 bunch broccoli 6 scallions, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1/4 c. olive oil 6 tomatoes, quartered 1 c. chicken broth 2 lbs. basil, chopped 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. lemon pepper 2 tbsp. tomato paste Cook pasta according to package directions, set aside. Chop off stems of broccoli, set aside. In a large skillet saute scallions and garlic in oil for about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and continue to saute another 10 minutes. Add next 7 ingredients, bring to boil. Add broccoli, cover and cook another 10 minutes. Pour over cooked pasta. Serves 4. |
