COUNTRY-STYLE CUBE STEAK
 

1 lb. cube steak
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1/2 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar

Coat meat with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Brown in oil with onion and green pepper. Stir in brown sugar, mustard, catsup, water, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until meat is tender.
