2 (12 inch) loaves unsliced dark rye or white bread 1/2 c. butter, softened 16 slices cooked ham 12 slices Provolone cheese 1 c. Thousand Island salad dressing Leaf lettuce 2 tomatoes, sliced thin 16 slices cooked turkey 20 slices salami Cut each loaf lengthwise into 4 slices. Spread with butter. Place bottom on platter. Use 1/2 of ham and cheese. Spread with salad dressing. Place second slice of bred. Add lettuce and tomato, more salad dressing, third slice of bread, half turkey and salami, more salad dressing. Add top slice of bread. Skewer together. Slice. 14 servings. |
