2 lb. round steak, cut 1-inch thick 1 can mushroom soup 2 sm. cans mushrooms 1 env. dry onion soup mix Line baking pan with aluminum foil; leave enough foil to fold over and seal well. Place meat on foil in pan. Spread with mushrooms and mushroom soup. Sprinkle dry onion soup over this (no other seasonings). Wrap and seal well. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 325 degrees. A blade or arm roast is delicious made same way, but takes 3 hours. |
