2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 lb. pork sausage 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. fine chopped onion 2/3 c. bread crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. allspice 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. cream Mix ingredients together. Make into tiny balls and brown in butter with 1/4 cup water. Rotate about 4 times. After browning, put in crock pot. MEATBALL GRAVY: Stir 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper into hot fat in skillet. Stir in 2 cups boiling water and 3/4 cup sour cream. |
