1 1/2 - 2 lb. bottom round, top round, rump, shoulder or sirloin tip Flour Salt & pepper Seasoned salt 1 sliced onion Dredge meat with flour and brown in hot fat. Brown thoroughly and cook slowly for dark rich flavor. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and seasoned salt. Add 1/2 cup water; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Top with sliced onion. Cover and simmer 1 hour. 6 servings. |
