SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS
 

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 tsp. garlic powder

Mix all ingredients together make into tiny meatballs. Cook under broiler until done.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can (13 1/4 oz.) pineapple chunks in heavy juice
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. ketchup
Green peppers, chopped
Onions, chopped

Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in pan. Stir in pineapple and syrup, vinegar, soy sauce and ketchup. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer stirring occasionally. About 10 minutes. Stir in green pepper and onion cover, simmer until crisp and tender.
