4 tbsp. flour (coating) 4 cube steaks 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 onion, sliced 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 c. beef broth 1/8 tsp. thyme 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. sliced olives Coat meat in flour and salt. Brown meat in butter. Transfer meat to baking dish. Saute onions and mushrooms. Pour over meat. In same pan, stir in flour, beef broth, milk, and thyme. Stir until sauce boils. Add olives. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
