1 lb. ground round
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. grated Romano cheese
1 egg
1 slice bread, toasted
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. chopped onion
MEATBALLS: Mix the ingredients and make meatballs. Heat 1/4 cup oil in skillet and brown slowly.
SAUCE: After meatballs are browned, remove and simmer onions in oil slowly. Add spices and add tomato paste, using a can of water to each can of paste. Stir well and let simmer slowly 15 minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs and cook slowly for 2 hours.
Boil spaghetti as directed on package. Add a little sauce to spaghetti and serve with meatballs. Use grated Romano cheese (bulk). Serves 4.
