STRING BEANS WITH BREAD CRUMBS
 

1 pound string beans (whole or cut) boiled in salt water with pinch baking soda. When soft but not overcooked, drain. Add bread crumbs, fine diced fry onions (drained), salt and pepper. All to taste. Toss with fork to combine. Serve hot.

Note:

1. Best to light toast bread (challah) before making crumbs.

2. String beans should be a little on hard side since the re-heating will soften them.

3. Fry onions and drain before starting process.
