FRESH FRUIT PIE
 

1 (4 oz.) pkg. flavored Jello
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. water
2 qts. fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, peaches, etc.)
2 baked single crust pie shells or graham cracker crusts
Softened cream cheese, optional
Whipped topping

Combine dry ingredients in saucepan. Add water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cool. Add fresh fruit. If using cream cheese, spread a thin layer on bottom of crusts. Pour in fruit. Chill. Garnish with whipped topping. Filling makes enough for 2 pies. Note: To cut calories, use artificially sweetened gelatin.
