FRUIT WAFFLE AND PANCAKE SYRUP
 

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Pinch of cream of tartar

2/3 c. juice from your favorite canned fruit

Add fruit juice to dry mixture and stir to dissolve. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, 5 to 10 minutes or to medium thick syrup consistency.

Serve over pancake and waffles. (The drained fruit can be added to the syrup or be served over separately).
