FRUIT PIZZA
 

1 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Fresh or canned fruit to cover 14" pizza pan

Suggestions For Fruit: bananas, red seedless grapes, cut in half, pineapple tidbits, strawberries, green grapes. I used 1 1/2 bananas, 10 to 12 strawberries, 1/4 can pineapple, small bunch of each kind of grapes.

Wash and drain fruit well. Cut cookie dough in slices, put on pizza pan. Press together to form crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla until fluffy. Spread on cooled cookie crust, arrange sliced fruit so light and dark colors alternate.

Glaze with: 1 tbsp. water

Peach, apricot, orange, don't change the color of bananas, etc. but strawberries taste great!

Brush over all fruit. Refrigerate. Keeps well several hours but is best if eaten the same day. You can also use mandarin oranges, peaches, blueberries, etc.
