ITALIAN CHEESE BREAD STICKS
 

1/4 c. soft butter
1/4 tsp. EACH basil, oregano, marjoram, crushed
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (16 oz.) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1 tbsp. water
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. sesame seeds

Combine butter and all spices. Roll bread dough into 12 inch square. Spread butter mixture over dough. Sprinkle with cheese. Fold dough over by thirds. Cut dough into 24, 1/2 inch strips. Twist each strip twice. Pinch ends to seal. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased sheet.

Cover - let rise in warm place until double in size (30 minutes). Combine egg and water. Brush over each twist. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
