POTATO CROQUETTES
 

4-5 med. potatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. Panko (bread crumbs)
2 c. vegetable oil

Boil potatoes and while still hot, peel and mash it. Mix onion, ground beef, salt and pepper and add to mashed potatoes and refrigerate 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Shape into croquette about 3/4 inch thick. Roll in flour and dip into the mixture of beaten egg and water. Roll in panko and pat off excess.

Heat oil to about 350 degrees and deep fry until golden brown. Serve with finely sliced cabbage. Pour Tonkatsu sauce or Aojiso Dressings.
