ITALIAN CALZONE SANDWICHES
 

1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1 lg. onion, sliced
2 green peppers, sliced
2 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
8 oz. can Pillsbury quick crescent dinner rolls
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
15 oz. jar prepared spaghetti sauce

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In skillet cook sausage, green peppers and onions until sausage is cooked thoroughly. Stir in mushrooms. Separate dough into 4 rectangles, firmly press perforations to seal on ungreased cookie sheet. Press to form rectangle. Spoon ingredients onto rectangled dough, sprinkle with cheese, fold remaining side over, seal and press edges firmly. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

In medium saucepan, heat spaghetti sauce until bubbly. Spoon sauce over hot calzone. Serves 4.
