2 lbs. round steak 2 med. onions Sm. clove garlic 2 fresh tomatoes 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Flour 1 c. water Pound steak with edge of saucer. Blend 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in flour. Roll steak in flour. Saute in hot oil until golden brown, then add onions, tomatoes and garlic with 1 cup of water to make gravy. Place in covered oven dish and bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes, buttered peas and carrots. |
