Place salmon (other fish may be used, if desired) in buttered baking dish. WHITE SAUCE: 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 tbsp. flour, stirred in 1 c. milk, added gradually Salt and pepper to taste Stir and cook until thickened. Stir in: 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 tbsp. chives or onion greens 1/4 c. white wine Pour sauce over steaks, dot with butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. |
