1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 18 oz. can (1 c.) seasoned tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate 1/2 tsp. salt Brown ground beef slowly but thoroughly, breaking with a fork until fine. Add remaining ingredients, simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Makes enough sauce for 12 coney dogs. |
