Makes 3 cups. The addition of a liberal amount of taco sauce turns refried beans into a lively dip. 1 (4 oz.) can chopped ripe olives 1/2 c. minced onion 1/4 c. bottled taco sauce 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Tortilla chips
Combine refried beans, olives, onion, taco sauce, garlic salt and 1 cup cheese. Spoon into 1 quart baking dish and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
