1 lg. head iceberg lettuce, shredded fine 1 lb. peas or now peas, steamed 30 seconds 1/2 c. chopped parsley Toss lightly with: SESAME SEED DRESSING: 2/3 c. salad oil 1/4 c. sesame seeds, lightly browned in oven 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. sugar 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 1/2 tsp. salt Put all ingredients in a blender except sesame seeds and mix well. Add seeds. This dressing will store well. It is nice lightly piled on red lettuce leaves for color. |
