1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed 1 sm. pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin 2 c. whipping cream 1 c. boiling water 2 tbsp. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Fresh strawberries Drain strawberries, reserving juices. Combine strawberry gelatin with boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add enough water to reserved juices to equal 1 cup. Add to gelatin. Refrigerate until slightly thickened. Beat until foamy. Beat 1 cup whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Frost sides and top of cake. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Refrigerate. |
