2 c. salt 2/3 c. water 1 c. corn starch 1/2 c. cold water Food coloring or Tempra Mix salt and 2/3 c. water in a pot over low heat 3-4 minutes until heated. Remove from heat. Mix corn starch and cold water together; add to hot mixture. Stir quickly. Mixture thickens to a stiff dough. If not place over heat and stir until it thickens. Knead to make pliable; use immediately, keeping covered with damp paper towels. Store in airtight container. Tint with food coloring or Tempra. |
