ALMOND ROCA
 

1 c. butter (must be)
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. Karo syrup
3/4 c. almonds, finely chopped
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Boil slowly together butter, sugar, water and syrup to 290 degrees.

Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. AS SOON AS cool enough to handle cut into strips and again into pieces.

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Dip each piece in chocolate and then roll in the almonds.
