Preheat oven to 350 degrees. LAYER 1 - CRUST: 2 c. flour 2 sticks softened butter 1 c. chopped pecans Mix flour and butter with pastry cutter. Add nuts and mix. Press into a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Crust will be light brown. Let cool. LAYER 2: 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 1/2 lg. tub Cool Whip (use rest on top) With a mixer beat cream cheese and sugar. Fold in the Cool Whip by hand. Spread over cooled crust. LAYER 3: 1 sm. instant chocolate pudding (4 serving) 1 sm. instant vanilla pudding (4 serving) 3 c. milk Put both puddings together in a tall bowl. Add milk and beat 2 minutes with mixer. Spread over layer 2. LAYER 4: 1/2 lg. tub Cool Whip 1 chocolate Hershey bar Spread over all above layers. Garnish with grated chocolate Hershey bar. Chill well. |
