Simple Pound Cake recipe follows. Cut up pound cake and line the bottom of a nice glass bowl. Layer with as follows:
1. Top the cut-up cake with a smooth layer of preserves or jam.
2. Make 1 to 3 layers of the fresh fruit.
3. Layer with custard or vanilla pudding.
4. Layer with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Make it decorative by placing strawberries beside mint leaves. It looks so pretty. This is always a great hit!
