ANGEL BERRY DESSERT
 

1 angel food cake
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry or mixed berry Jello
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 pt. whipping cream, whipped

Partially thaw the berries and reserve the liquid. Dissolve the Jello in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Add enough water to the reserved juice to make 2 cups. Add this to the gelatin mixture. Chill until partially set. When the gelatin is partially set, gently fold in the drained berries and the whipped cream. Tear the angel food cake into bite size pieces and place in 9"x13" pan. Pour the berry mixture over the cake and refrigerate until firm. You can use tube pan and alternately gelatin mixture and cake. When the dessert is chilled an set, unmold it. Slice and serve with whipped cream.
